On the second floor, the public service area has 10 computers available for patron use as well as a Self-Service Legal Research computer. The Self Service Legal Research computer, funded by the Lyon County Law Library, provides access to WestLaw and other legal resources. Please note: library staff cannot give legal advice, perform legal research, or interpret legal materials. Patrons may use the Legal Research Resource on the Research page.
In the Kansas Room, patrons may use the Newspaper computer for access to print publications available for online reading or the Microfilm Computer to conduct personal research using the library's microfilm collection.
In the children's room on the first floor, there are 3 public access computers for children, 1 AWE computer, and 3 iPads preloaded with games.
Printing is available from all public computers; black and white pages are 25 cents each and color copies are 50 cents each.
The printer cannot print front-and-back copies nor can it handle non-standard printer paper.
